The founder and President, is a veteran police officer with more than 30 years as a professional rising through the ranks to the position of Chief of Police. Barkley Security Agency, Inc. has a management support staff which consists of contract managers, assistant contract managers, area supervisors, site supervisors, and over 200 security officers.

Barkley Security Agency, Inc. provides armed and unarmed coordinated prevention and deterrence security services to county, state, private and federal agencies. We are presently certified as a State MBE, DBE, and certified on the GSA Federal Supply Scheduled. We where formerly certified as a 8a firm. Our company has been incorporated in the State of Florida since 1992.
In the years since its inception, the Barkley Security Agency, Inc. has grown steadily; the company currently employs more than 200 management, administrative and service personnel with over 45 percent having graduated from law enforcement or military academy. We have extensive experience in providing quality service in all our government contracts. The Barkley Security Agency, Inc. is fully qualified to perform a wide variety of administrative, preventive, operational and analytical security services. Our major goal is professionalism. The founder and president, is a veteran police officer with more than thirty years as a professional rising through the ranks to the position of Chief of Police. The firm has provided administrative, investigative, and preventive security services to a wide array of commercial, private, and government entities. The firm was cited by the Governors office as providing outstanding performance in contractual services for the State of Florida.
Our President and CEO Robert E. Barkley Sr., a Quincy, Fl, native formed the out standing
company in 1988. He is the former Chief of the Quincy Department of Public Safety and Director of Crime Prevention and Education Division of the Gadsden County Sheriff Department. Mr. Barkley is recognized throughout the southeastern United States as a crime prevention specialist, being named the national Youth Crime Watch Officer of the year for the State. The Governor of Florida, the Florida Cabinet, and U.S. Attorney General also recognized his crime prevention efforts. Under his leadership, the firm has provided administrative, investigative, patrol, and prevention security service to a wide array of commercial and government entities. Barkly Security Agency, Inc. is headquartered in Quincy, Fl. from this location, we provide diversified security services to various private, commercial, and Government agencies.
